Preparation of Beet salad
cook
- 10 kg beet
- Salted water
10 kg beet Wash well and brush off.
Cook with a steamer insert or in Salted water for approx. 2 hours until soft.
cut
Peel the beetroot and cut or slice thinly.
marinate
- 500 ml Vinegar
- 500 ml Water
- 200 g grated Horseradish
- 100 ml Caraway
- 40 ml Salt
- Oil
Briefly bring 500 ml Vinegar, 500 ml Water, 100 ml Caraway, 40 ml Salt and 200 g grated Horseradish to the boil together.
Pour over the beets and mix well.
Add Oil according to taste.
