Preparation of Beet salad
cook
- 7.5 kg beet
- Salted water
7.5 kg beet Wash well and brush off.
Cook with a steamer insert or in Salted water for approx. 2 hours until soft.
cut
Peel the beetroot and cut or slice thinly.
marinate
- 375 ml Vinegar
- 375 ml Water
- 150 g grated Horseradish
- 7.5 tbsp Caraway
- 7.5 tsp Salt
- Oil
Briefly bring 375 ml Vinegar, 375 ml Water, 7.5 tbsp Caraway, 7.5 tsp Salt and 150 g grated Horseradish to the boil together.
Pour over the beets and mix well.
Add Oil according to taste.
