Hi, I’m Martin Schlagnitweit – developer, cook, photographer and gardener behind Seasonal Servings.
With a technical high‑school degree in electrical engineering, a short journey into informatics studies and finally an individual bachelor “Food Production and Technology” at BOKU Vienna, I bring together technology, science and seasonal cooking.
Seasonal Servings is your companion for seasonal cooking – practical, flavourful and close to regional produce.
For over 20 years I have been shaping the original Prostmahlzeit.net as my playground for seasonal cuisine and web technology.
Since the 2025 relaunch seasonal-servings.com also offers an English translation of ProstMahlzeit.net.
When I am not coding, I tend my vegetable garden and Altsteirer chickens, preserve what ripens and plan the next cooking idea.
