Ingredients for 4 persons: ½ Chinese cabbage, ½ Kohlrabi, 50 g Käfer beans, 1 Jungzwiebel, Salt, Vinegar, Oil

Preparation of Chinese cabbage and kohlrabi salad

Beetle beans

Soak 50 g Käfer beans overnight and then cook in unsalted Water for 90 minutes until soft and leave to cool. Alternatively, you can use pre-cooked beans from a can or jar, in which case you will need double the amount (drained weight).

Cutting vegetables

Cut ½ Chinese cabbage into strips and then into 1 cm cubes. Also cut ½ Kohlrabi into 1 cm cubes. Cut 1 Jungzwiebel into rings.

Marinate salad

  • Salt, Vinegar, Oil
Mix all the ingredients together and marinate with Salt, Vinegar and Oil.
