Preparation of Red cabbage
Slicing red cabbage
- 500 g Red cabbage
- 1 Onion
Slice or cut 500 g Red cabbage into thin strips.
1 Onion finely chop.
Roast red cabbage
- 4 tbsp Oil
Fry the onion in 4 tbsp Oil for a few minutes.
Add the cabbage and fry until it collapses.
Deglaze & cook
- 3 apples
- 200 ml Red wine
- 3 tbsp Lingonberry compote
Delete with 200 ml Red wine.
Coarsely grate 3 apples and add to the cabbage together with 3 tbsp Lingonberry compote.
Cover the red cabbage and simmer over a low heat for about 1 hour.
