Preparation of Falafel
Chickpeas
- 300 g dried chickpeas
300 g dried chickpeas Soak for 24h.
Important: Do not use pre-cooked chickpeas from a tin or.
use the glass.
Sesame
- 10 dag Sesame
Roast 10 dag Sesame without fat in a pan, stirring constantly, until light brown.
Falafel batter
Bake falafel
- 1 package Baking powder
- Oil
Heat the Oil in a pan or deep fryer.
Knead 1 package Baking powder into the falafel dough, shape into walnut-sized patties and fry in the oil for approx. 5-10 minutes until golden brown.
To begin with, only swirl the pan gently, once the falafel are lightly browned, turn them over with a spoon.
Don't bake too many falafel at once.
