Preparation of Beet cordon bleu
Beet
- 2 beet
Cut 2 beet (medium sized, approx. 10-15 cm diameter) into slices approx. 5 mm thick (4 per portion).
Stuffing beet
- Ham, Cheese
Fill the beet with Ham and Cheese and secure with toothpicks.
Breading
- Flour, Egg, Bread crumbs
Coat the stuffed turnips in Flour, beaten Egg and Bread crumbs.
Baking
- 250 ml Oil 1
Fry the breaded beet in 250 ml Oil1 on both sides until golden brown.
Not too hot so that the beet becomes soft inside.
If you would like them a little softer, you can continue cooking them in the oven at 100°.
Serve
- Sour cream, Salad
Sour cream and Salad match this.
