Preparation of Krautfleckerl
Cabbage
- ½ White cabbage
- 1 Onion
- 100 ml Soup
- 50 g Clarified butter
- Salt
Remove the stalk from ½ White cabbage, cut the cabbage leaves into approx. 1 cm pieces.
1 Onion finely chop.
Fry the onion in 50 g Clarified butter until light brown.
Add the cabbage and continue frying.
After a few minutes, pour in Salt and top up with 100 ml Soup.
Sauté the cabbage on a low heat for 10 minutes until soft.
Cooking dumplings
- 30 dag Fleckerl (Austrian pasta)
- Salted water
Cook 30 dag Fleckerl (Austrian pasta) (or farfalle) in Salted water until soft.
Strain the fleckerl, add to the cabbage and mix well.
