Preparation of Krautfleckerl

Cabbage

Remove the stalk from ½ White cabbage, cut the cabbage leaves into approx. 1 cm pieces. 1 Onion finely chop. Fry the onion in 50 g Clarified butter until light brown. Add the cabbage and continue frying. After a few minutes, pour in Salt and top up with 100 ml Soup. Sauté the cabbage on a low heat for 10 minutes until soft.

Cooking dumplings

Cook 30 dag Fleckerl (Austrian pasta) (or farfalle) in Salted water until soft. Strain the fleckerl, add to the cabbage and mix well.
