Preparation of Tortilla de Patatas

potatoes & onion

Peel 60 dag potatoes, halve and cut into thin slices. 2 Onions fine dice. Heat 4 tbsp Oil in a pan. Cook the potatoes and onion over a medium heat (approx. 20 mins). Allow to cool slightly.

eggs

Mix 4 eggs, add the potatoes and onion. Season with Salt, Pepper and etwas Nutmeg.

fry

Heat 3 tbsp Oil in a (preferably coated) pan and add the mixture. Fry for a few minutes until the mixture is fairly firm. Tip onto a plate, turn and return to the pan to finish frying.

serve

  • Tomato sauce
Cut into pieces and serve with Tomato sauce or garlic sauce.
