Preparation of Potato pancakes

Potato mixture

Finely grate 1.5 kg potatoes with a potato grater or fine kitchen grater. Squeeze well and discard the liquid. Mix in 6 eggs and press in 3 cloves Garlic. Season with Salt and Nutmeg.

Fry potato pancakes

Heat 9 tbsp Oil in a pan. Add a few heaps of the potato mixture and press together to a thickness of about 5 mm. Fry on the first side until golden brown, turn and finish frying.
