Preparation of Pot dumplings

Curd cheese dough

Process 18.75 dag Curd cheese, ¾ Egg, 2.25 tbsp Bread crumbs and 2.25 tbsp Semolina into a dough. Leave to infuse in the cold for 15 minutes.

Forming & cooking pot dumplings

  • Water
Bring the lightly salted Water to the boil and reduce the heat. Shape the dough into dumplings with a spoon. Simmer in hot salted water for 10 minutes.

Roast breadcrumbs

Melt 37.5 g Butter in a pan. Roast 7.5 dag Bread crumbs in it while stirring. Add 1.5 tbsp Sugar. Lift the cooked pot dumplings out of the water with a sieve scoop and roll in the breadcrumbs.

Serve

  • Powdered sugar
Serve the pot dumplings with stewed plums or plum jam and sprinkle with Powdered sugar.
