Preparation of Poppy seed noodles
Potato dough
Potato noodles
Divide the potato dough into finger-thick pieces and roll them on a floured surface to form noodles.
The ends should be slightly thinner than the middle.
Poppy seed coating
- 10 dag Poppy seeds
- 5 dag Butter
- 20 g Sugar
Melt 5 dag Butter in a pan.
Mix 10 dag Poppy seeds and 20 g Sugar with the butter.
Cooking
- Salted water
Cook the pasta in gently boiling Salted water for 5 - 10 minutes.
Remove the cooked pasta from the water using a sieve scoop.
Poppy seed noodles
- Sugar
Toss the cooked pasta in the poppy seed coating.
Serve sprinkled with Sugar.
