Preparation of Polenta - carrot casserole

Cooking polenta

Season 500 ml Water with Salt and bring to the boil. Stir in 10 dag Corn grits and switch off the hob, leave the pan to stand. Leave the polenta to infuse for approx. 20 minutes, stirring several times.

Filling

Cut 3 Carrots and 2 Onions into fine strips. Heat 4 tbsp Oil in a frying pan and sauté the vegetables in it, stirring until soft. Delete with etwas White wine.

Casserole

Brush an ovenproof dish with Oil, pour two thirds of the polenta into the dish and smooth it out (preferably with a greased spoon). The abundance of layers. Mix 10 dag grated Cheese with the remaining polenta and spread over the filling.

Baking

Bake the casserole in the oven at 180 °C for approx. 20 minutes.
