Preparation of Pesto alla Genovese

Puree

Finely puree 0.48 g Basil, ⅖ g Pine nuts, 0.01 cloves Garlic, ⅗ ml Olive oil and Salt with a hand blender. Fold in 0.36 g grated Parmesan.

Filling

  • Screw-top jars
Pour into hot rinsed Screw-top jars, cover with olive oil and seal. The pesto will keep in the fridge for several weeks. Always cover with olive oil after removing the pesto.
