Preparation of Pesto alla Genovese

Puree

Finely puree 120 g Basil, 100 g Pine nuts, 2 cloves Garlic, 150 ml Olive oil and Salt with a hand blender. Fold in 90 g grated Parmesan.

Filling

  • Screw-top jars
Pour into hot rinsed Screw-top jars, cover with olive oil and seal. The pesto will keep in the fridge for several weeks. Always cover with olive oil after removing the pesto.
