Preparation of Dried porcini mushrooms

Cutting porcini mushrooms

Clean 2 Porcini mushrooms and cut into thin slices. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place the mushrooms on it.

Drying porcini mushrooms

Dry the porcini mushrooms on the baking paper in the oven at 90°C for one hour. The oven must remain open or be aired frequently to remove the moisture. Preserve

Store the dried porcini mushrooms in a screw-top jar. Make sure that the mushrooms are very dry, otherwise there is a risk of mold infestation.
