Preparation of Chili sin Carne
Preparations
- 3 Zwiebeln
- 2 Paprika
- 100 g Sojagranulat
Finely dice 3 Zwiebeln and 2 Paprika. Soak 100 g Sojagranulat in hot water for 10 minutes and then strain.
Roast
- 100 g Tomatenmark
- 5 tbsp Öl
Sauté the onion in 5 tbsp Öl and fry for 5-10 minutes, stirring, until the onions start to color. Then add the peppers and fry for a few more minutes. Add the soy granules and also stir-fry. Add 100 g Tomatenmark and fry briefly.
Deglaze
- 500 ml passierten Tomaten
- 300 ml Wasser
Deglaze with 500 ml passierten Tomaten and 300 ml Wasser and stir well so that nothing sticks to the bottom of the pan.
Beans and corn
- 400 g geschälte Tomaten
- 300 g rote Bohnen
- 200 g Zuckermais
Add 200 g Zuckermais, 300 g rote Bohnen, 400 g geschälte Tomaten (with the juice) to the chili.

Cover and simmer gently for about 30 minutes.
