Preparation of Chard strudel

Swiss chard

Briefly blanch 10 dag Swiss chard in boiling water, rinse in cold water and squeeze well. Cut the chard into 5 cm long pieces.

Fullness

Finely chop ½ Onion and stir into the chard in 1 tbsp Oil for a few minutes. Season the filling with Salt, Pepper and ½ toe Garlic.

Strudel

Whisk ½ Egg and brush the edges of ½ Puff pastry with it. Place 125 g Ham in the middle of the puff pastry and spread the filling on top. Chop up 125 g Feta cheese and spread over the chard. Fold up the pastry and brush the strudel with the remaining Egg.

Baking

Bake the strudel in the oven at 220 °C for 20 - 30 minutes, possibly reducing the temperature slightly after half the baking time so that the strudel does not get too dark.

Serve

Serve the strudel with potatoes.
