Ingredients for 2 persons: 0.38 kg Onions, 0.38 kg Wadschinken (cured ham), 37.5 g Clarified butter, 25 g Paprika powder, ½ tbsp Vinegar, ½ tbsp Marjoram, 1 clove Garlic, ¼ tbsp Salt, ¼ tbsp Pepper, ¼ tsp Caraway

Preparation of Beef goulash

Preparations

Cut 0.38 kg Onions into strips, roughly dice 0.38 kg Wadschinken (cured ham) (beef goulash meat).

Roast goulash meat

Fry the onions in 37.5 g Clarified butter until lightly browned. Add the meat. It should only be cooked on the outside.

Deglaze the beef goulash

Add 25 g Paprika powder (more or less hot paprika powder depending on taste), fry briefly and deglaze with ½ tbsp Vinegar and 0.38 L Water.

Beef goulash seasoning

Season with 1 clove Garlic, ¼ tbsp Salt and ¼ tbsp Pepper. Simmer over a low heat for about 2 hours. Finally, season with ½ tbsp Marjoram and ¼ tsp Caraway.
