Preparation of Baked plum dumplings
Potato dough
Forming plum dumplings
- 20 small Plums
Wash and dry 20 small Plums. Shape the potato dough into a roll approx. 5 cm thick. Cut 1-2 cm thick slices from it. Flatten the dough with floured hands and wrap each plum in it.
Bake plum dumplings
- 50 g Butter
Melt 50 g Butter in a casserole dish and carefully toss the dumplings in it. Bake the dumplings in the oven at 200°C for 45 minutes.
Frosting
- 130 ml Whipping cream
- 1 Egg
Stir 130 ml Whipping cream and 1 Egg until smooth. Pour this glaze over the plum dumplings and bake for a further 15 minutes.
