Preparation of Apple - curd cheese crumble cake
Crumble
- 30 dag Flour
- 15 dag Butter
- 7 dag Sugar
- 1 Egg yolk
- ½ packages Baking powder
- Lemon zest
Mix and crumble 30 dag Flour, ½ packages Baking powder, 15 dag Butter, 7 dag Sugar, Lemon zest and 1 Egg yolk.
Curd cheese mixture
- 50 dag Curd cheese
- 4 Egg white
- 10 dag Sugar
- 1 Lemon
- 4 tbsp Semolina
- 3 Egg yolk
- 1 package Vanilla sugar
Stir 50 dag Curd cheese, 1 package Vanilla sugar, juice from 1 Lemon, 3 Egg yolk and 4 tbsp Semolina until smooth.
Beat 4 Egg white with 10 dag Sugar until stiff and fold into the curd cheese mixture.
Apples
- 1 kg apples
Quarter 1 kg apples, remove the seeds and cut into thin slices.
Cake
Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Spread two thirds of the crumble mixture on the tray and press flat.
Spread the curd cheese mixture over the crumble mixture and top with the apples.
Spread the rest of the crumble on top.
Bake the cake in the oven at 180 °C for 55 minutes.
